Get Involved Volunteers by Kay Harmon

Do you want to make a difference? The Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust relies on volunteer support in all areas of its work. Volunteer opportunities include practical conservation work on reserves, surveys, giving talks and leading guided walks, helping with our administration, marketing and membership recruitment. There are always a number of projects where volunteer help is vital.

To help you find the opportunity which suits you, we have split them up into three categories

Reserve Work Parties- times and dates of the practical work groups who maintain our reserves

Trust HQ and Centres- tasks which are carried out at our head office in Curdridge or at the centres at Blashford Lakes, Swanwick Lakes and Testwood Lakes (many, but not all! of these opportunities are, in part, computer based)

Out and about - practical, survey and other tasks which take place at sites in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight

Find out more about how you can get involved in the Trust's work, by delving further into this section.
