Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust is represented locally by its volunteer District Groups.
Their work is varied but most groups are involved in nature conservation on their nearby wildlife reserves and other local sites of interest. They organise much of our popular programme of walks and talks and attend local shows and events where they raise funds on our behalf and encourage new members to join the Trust.
All the groups are run by volunteers and more help is always needed. Some are run on traditional committee lines and others as slightly less formal Members' groups.
Our diary of events lists all our local activities, but if you are a new member and perhaps would like to introduce yourself, or you'd like additional information about meetings, then please get in touch with your local representative or email feedback@hwt.org.uk
