Let your Will work for Wildlife Sir David Attenborough

“The future is much too important to be left to chance. We all want our family and friends to be well looked after when we are no longer there to help – that is why  making a Will is one of the most important jobs that any of us has to do. But I am sure that, like me, you are also concerned about the future of our planet. You too share a belief that it is important we leave a thriving natural world for future generations to know and enjoy. Your support for the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust will help ensure that our children and grandchildren can enjoy the wonders of nature both now and in the future.”   -  Sir David Attenborough, Vice President,  The Wildlife Trusts

A gift in your Will to the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust is one of the most valuable ways you can help local wildlife. Your kindness can help ensure a future for wildlife in towns, the countryside and the seas; benefiting the wildlife that you know and enjoy today.

A legacy today - for the wildlife of Hampshire and Isle of Wight tomorrow

It's easy to leave a legacy to the Trust and it can really make a difference. Your gift will mean that the Trust can continue to:

  • Acquire and restore new wildlife reserves.
  • Manage and improve our existing wildlife reserves so they remain havens for wildlife and people.
  • Protect and save rare or threatened species such as the otter, dormouse, water vole and barn owl.
  • Continue our education programme with children so that they grow up to appreciate and protect their natural environment.
  • Work with landowners, businesses and community groups to give everyone a chance to enjoy wild places.

All legacies are special so every legacy received is recorded in our Book of Remembrance, which is available for viewing at the Trust office in Curdridge and at the Annual General Meeting.

It is important to have an up-to-date Will – it’s the only way to ensure your property and possessions go to those you wish after your death - family, friends and favourite causes.

The Trust needs your support to secure a better future for nature – and one of the best ways to help is by making a will. Legacies make a huge difference to our work. With your support, children will be able to continue to enjoy wildlife and wild places as they grow up and have families of their own. Donations of all sizes have helped to protect wildlife for the future, on wildlife reserves, through work to educate and inspire children, and by providing better protection for endangered species and habitats in our countryside and even in our towns.
