In spring, Great spotted Woodpeckers can be heard 'drumming' and calling loudly. They can sometimes be seen on garden bird feeders. They like to eat insects, nuts and seeds. |

Treecreepers can be seen on tree trunks in patches of woodland. These small birds hop up trees using their long, down-curved bill to search for spiders and insects |
