News
Bank restoration work at Allbrook in Eastleigh has been completed and the footpath here is now open to the public. Read our press release about the re-opening of the footpath here. Work is planned to start at Shawford in July 2009. The footpath will be closed whilst the work is being undertaken, but a diversion route will be in place.

Events
Project Exhibition at City Mill in Winchester from 13th May to 31st July 2009. For opening times, visit the National Trust website.
There will be a joint Itchen Navigation Project and Environment Agency stall at the Southampton Mela on July 18th.
Volunteering opportunities
We need volunteers to help with wildlife surveys, lock preservation and habitat enhancement to name a few tasks. To find out what current volunteering opportunities there are, follow the link to the volunteering page and check out the practical conservation (out and about) opportunities.

Newsletter
The quarterly ‘Itchen Navigation News’ reports on the progress of the project, plus it includes articles written by staff, volunteers and the public on the wildlife and history of the Navigation.
