The Wildlife Trust in the Forest

Lymington Reedbeds by Albert RobertsThe Trust is a major landowner and manager within the New Forest with its two largest reserves, Roydon Woods and Keyhaven and Lymington Marshes both within the boundary of the New Forest National Park.

The importance of the commoning and farming community to the wildlife of the Forest is  vital and the Trust provides advice and support for these communities through the New Forest Advice Service. This is a unique project in which officers from the Trust, the National Park Authority and Natural England work under one umbrella to provide an integrated service throughout the Forest and Avon valley.
