Seashore plants and seaweed

 Thrift by Phil Mclean Thrift grows in dry, sandy soils near to the seashore. It is also a popular plant in people's gardens. It flowers from May to August.
 Bladderwrack by Alan Price Bladderwrack is a common kind of  brown seaweed, usually found on rocky shores. It gets its name from the small air pockets on its fronds (leaves) which allow it to float.
 Sea lettuce Sea lettuce is a kind of green seaweed that looks a bit like lettuce. Sea lettuce grows on rocky and gravel shores, particularly in rock pools. It is a popular food in some countries.
