Common Tern by Jason Crook Common Terns are summer visitors to this country. They come to breed on rocky islands and shingle beaches. They feed on fish and they fly very gracefully.
Oystercatcher by Jason Crook Oystercatchers are large waders that are easy to spot because of their black and white feathers and bright orange bills. THey feed on cockles and mussels on most of the seashore all around Britain.
Brent Goose by Jason Crook Brent Geese are small and black. They spend the winter on the British coast, particularly near to estuaries and saltmarshes. They feed on the plants they find there.
