Membership
We are a charity that relies on funding and support from our members.
If local wildlife and the countryside are important to you then, by becoming a member of Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust, you can make a real difference. Your support
- gives us vital funds to continue our conservation work andstand up for our local wildlife and wild places
- means that our voice is heard by government and local authorities and that our influence in protecting wildlife grows
- lets us know that we are not alone in believing that wildlife really matters
You can join online, by post, or by talking to our Field Officer, Andy Steele. You may see him out and about on our reserves or at events. He will be happy to explain the benefits of membership to you and to the Trust and to answer any queries. He may also be calling on households in your area to introduce the Trust and our work.
On joining the Trust you will receive a membership pack with a copy of our latest magazine and wildlife diary, a colour guide of all our reserves within Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, a car sticker and membership card.
Our Wildlife magazine is published three times a year and will be delivered to you, along with a copy of our Wildlife Diary. The diary is packed with guided walks, talks, activities and special interest courses for you to get in involved with and discover more about your local wildlife.
If you join as a family member, your children (up to the age of 15) will automatically become members of Wildlife Watch, the junior branch of the Wildlife Trusts, and will receive Watch publications and details of local Wildlife Watch Group activities.
