Striped lychnis survey by Amanda BassettLoddon Farm Advice

The Loddon and Eversley Heritage Area Project can give free advice and support to benefit landowners, the wildlife and the land you look after in north east Hampshire, including assistance with Entry and Higher Level Stewardship applications.

Advice is available to help landowners with the restoration and management of heathland, dry acid grassland, species-rich meadows, wetland, chalk downland, hedgerows and small woodlands. Click for advice on woodland management.

We can work with farmers to help them meet the new challenges under the water framework directive and the new nitrate regulations.

The project produces regular newsletters for local farmers with updates on agri-environment issues. Please click here for past Loddon Farm Advice newsletters.

If you are farming in the area and would like to receive the newsletter or would like any advice or assistance please contact the Project Officer on 01256 381186 or email amandab@hwt.org.uk.

There are a number of other organisations in the area that can also help with land management advice.

Please find below some information sheets produced through the England Catchment Sensitive Farming Delivery Initiative.
