Key Stage 1 and 2
Our education sites have extensive and high quality woodland, grassland and freshwater environments. The broad range of habitats enables pupils to progressively explore their diversity, adaptations and structure from year to year.
Our staff facilitate agreed learning objectives through themed activities, designed to engage the children and meet their learning needs.
Whilst all the Education staff can deliver activities in the range of topics below, each site has a unique environment and may therefore offer other, site-specific activities.
Variety to Adaptations and Habitats
Basic sorting to Classifying plants and animals
Natural materials to Rocks and Soils
Sense of Place to Mapwork Skills

Activities are tailored to meet the learning needs and outcomes for each group.
Underpinning all the activities are the development of

- numeracy

- teamwork
- problem solving
