A living memorial
As an alternative to bouquets and wreaths, please consider making a donation to Hampshire & Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust. Your donation will help us protect and maintain local areas of wildflower meadow, coastline and heathland, providing beautiful tributes to your loved one for years to come.
All donations will go towards the area of conservation work where the need is greatest. You can also choose to sponsor a birdfeeder or area of wildflower meadow in memory of someone who has died.

Sponsor a birdfeeder
Blashford Lakes nature reserve near Ringwood hosts a fantastic array of wild birds such as finches, tits, woodpeckers and over-wintering wildfowl. If you would like to support a birdfeeder in memory of a loved one, we will include their name in our memorial area in the beautiful Woodland Bird Hide. This peaceful hide is easily accessible and very popular with birds at all times of year.
Suggested donation: £300 (this will buy a birdfeeder and one-year supply of seeds)
Memorial wildflower meadow
Hoe Road Memorial Meadow, just outside Bishops Waltham, is a beautiful wildflower meadow dedicated to the memory of our supporters. To commemorate someone special, you can make a donation to help look after an area of this meadow and provide a stunning living tribute.
In return for contributing to the meadow’s upkeep, we will mount a plaque for your loved one in the meadow itself, and send you a certificate confirming that an area of the meadow is being maintained in their memory.
Suggested donation: £100 (this will look after 50m2 of Hoe Road meadow for ten years)
Ways to collect donations
Your funeral director can take care of donations, or you can send them directly to the Wildlife Trust if you have collected them personally. Please make cheques payable to ‘Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust’.
