 The Trust as a whole runs many fun, informative courses and events, including species and reserve walks and talks, open garden days, family fun days, children’s events, animal identification and other wildlife skills, and much more.  Wednesday 2nd May - Natterjack Toad Walk - Hengistbury Head

April/May 2012 – Great Crested Newt Surveys – Emer Bog

Join Sarah Bignell, Trust Ecologist, for Great Crested Newt surveys at Emer Bog HIWWT Nature Reserve as part of the on-going Great Crested Newt surveys the Trust is co-ordinating with HARG.  Survey times will be provided with confirmation of your place on the survey, but will start around sunset. 

Surveys are conducted at night time so are not suitable for children. 

Spaces are limited so please book in advance with Sarah Bignell (SarahB@hwt.org.uk), sending all the dates you are available.  Booking will be on a first come, first served basis.  If your first choice of date is full then we will try and fit you into another date so please provide all dates that you are free. Initially people will only be booked onto 1 survey day to ensure everybody has a chance to come along, but if you would like to come out again please let me know in case a space becomes free.

Survey dates: Thursday 26th April (morning collection of traps only, start approx. 7am) & Monday 21st May
