The Lapwing is a wading birds that is found on grassland and farmland. It is also known as a Peewit, after its call. It feeds on worms and insects and it nests on the ground. |

The Skylark is famed for its beautiful song which it sings while flying vertically up in the air. It makes its nest in a little hollow on the ground, often in open farmland. |

Meadow Pipit is a brown, speckled bird. It is found on all kinds of open country including moorland, marshes and even parks. Its favourite foods are moths, beetles, flies and spiders. |
