Follow the Trust - on the web

The internet now provides new ways to keep in touch with the activities of the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust, including  its members, volunteers, staff, projects and reserves. We now appear on the Facebook social networking site and some of our reserves and projects have their own blogs. No doubt we will appear on other sites in the next few months.

If you are not familiar with these websites and networks, then here is a brief introduction. All of these websites require you to join before you can add comments or content, but they are simple to use, so why not give them a try.

What is Facebook?

Facebook is the largest social networking website and helps keep people in touch with friends, family and others with shared interests. Users can add and comment on messages, photos, videos and much more.

The Trust uses this site to post details of our work and to get feedback from supporters. Why not join up?

What are Blogs?

A blog is a website, where content is added on an ongoing basis. Visitors can read what is new and then they can comment on it or link to it.
