Teachers' Corner
The South East Marine Programme has produced a DVD entitled 'Beneath the Waves The Sea Life of South East England'. This 40 minute documentary film gives a diver's eye view of this underwater world and enables you to come face to face with the animals and plants that inhabit mud, sand, gravel, rocky reefs and shipwrecks on the seabed. It also provides information regarding the industries that depend on our sea, the state the marine environment is in, and the many ways in which you can 'do your bit' to help protect the sea life of South East England.
We have produced this documentary in a 2 disc DVD teacher's set with the second DVD being an 'extras' disk including a sea life gallery and a Key Stage 3 and 4 Action Pack. To find out more please click here.
