Corporate Work Parties

What are Corporate Work Parties? corporate_volunteering

Corporate work paries involve groups of employees coming out and taking part in practical conservation work to help manage sites for the benefit of wildlife and the local community.

What are the benefits of Corporate Work Parties?

As well as raising your company profile within the local community, these tasks can help to build relationships within teams, boost morale, provide an opportunity for employees to interact with each other in a non-work setting and it can help to fulfil your corporate social responsibility. This in turn can have a beneficial effect on productivity as employees return to work feeling motivated and inspired.

In addition to this, you know that you are making a positive contribution to preserving the environment.

What types of activities will we take part in?

There are a variety of activities throughout the year such as:

  • Pond-building or maintenance
  • Fence or path construction
  • Clearing invasive scrub
  • Cutting or planting trees
  •  Beach cleaning on the south coast

How much does it cost?

From £500 for a team of 12 people. Discounts are available for our Wildlife Investors.

Team Building

Removing your workforce from their normal working environment and placing them in unfamiliar situations is a great way of helping a team pull together and produces some amazing results:

  • enhanced team morale and efficiency
  • improvement in communications within the team
  • increased positive team interaction back in the office

Team Building Days - Activities

Companies can choose from a list of structured Team Building events based around traditional bushcraft skills. Your team event can take part in activities such as:

  • Fire lighting
  • Shelter Building
  •  ‘Wildlife Cookery'

This is a great way of assessing your staff as the natural leaders come to the forefront and allows the team to engage in a way that may have remained hidden in the workplace.
