Visit our Wildlife Reserves
You are never far away from one of the Trust's 57 wildlife reserves - and they are great places to see a wide range of wildlife and enjoy fresh air and beautiful landscapes. Our flagship reserves are especially good for people, with easy access paths and information provision.
Events
There are over 400 events a year, so we are sure there is something to suit everyone's taste. Guided walks, family fun days, informative talks, wildlife crafts - if we haven't thought about it then it probably doesn't exist! Highlights over the last few months included the Winter Wildlife and Festive Fun at Swanwick, Christmas Past and Present at Testwood Lakes and the Keyhaven Birdwatch. Why not check our events out and see if there is something to inspire you?
Countryside courses
Have you ever wanted to know how to identify birds, fungi or wildflowers, or wanted to have a go at botanical illustration, wildlife photography, willow-weaving or wildlife surveys? We organise a programme of countryside courses that might be just right for you.
Campaigns
We are a practical, local charity and do not exist purely as a campaigning organisation but every now and then something comes along that is so important that we just have to make a fuss about it! Take a look at recent and current campaign issues to see if you can support us and add your voice. And please consider becoming a member of the Trust. You would be doing your bit to help us make a difference.

It is largely thanks to our volunteers that the Wildlife Trust is able to achieve so much. There are all sorts of volunteering opportunities ranging from practical conservation work on our reserves, to ‘lookering' on our grazing sites, helping the admin team or even helping run our on-line shop! Some of our most active volunteers run our 14 District Groups, providing events and support for members and helping to promote the Trust.
School Groups
With three fantastic education centres in Hampshire plus an Education Officer on the Isle of Wight we can offer a range of curriculum-based education programmes for all ages. We can also offer advice and support to schools on developing and using wildlife areas in their school grounds.
