Education and Wildlife Watch
Do you like being outdoors? Do you like working with children?
If so, then you may be interested in becoming an education volunteer at one of our Education Centres or a being a Wildlife Watch Leader.
Where are the centres based?
We have four Education Centres at:
Blashford Lakes
Testwood Lakes
Swanwick Lakes
Isle of Wight
What might I be doing as an education volunteer?
Tasks such as:
- Helping school, youth and community groups learn about wildlife through activities like pond dipping, "minibeasting", night walks and campfires
- Working alongside the Education Officers and possibly leading group activities to help the children and young people enjoy their discoveries more
- Helping with the preparation for and clean up after visits
- Attending training days where appropriate
What does a Wildlife Watch Leader do?

Current volunteering opportunities
Education Volunteers
We need Education Volunteers to assist through the week with our children's activities at Testwood Lakes, Blashford Lakes and Swanwick Lakes Education Centres. Watch leaders
We need Watch leaders for the groups at Testwood Lakes, Swanwick Lakes,Southampton (meeting at the Hawthorns Centre) and Alton/Four Marks area.
