Water Festival went with a splash!
30 July 2010
The sun was shining and thousands of local people came along to the Hampshire Water Festival at Staunton Country Park. Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust had a large stand at the event which attracted lots of people to make dragonflies, take part in our 2010 wildlife survey, learn more about wildlife gardening, take our wildflower quiz or talk to staff members about the work that we do and how to support us by becoming a member.
The Trust's mascot, Bramble the Badger was out despite the heat, and managed to get photgraphs with the Mayor of Havant and our very own Chair of Trustees, John Goodspeed.
Thank you to everyone that came to visit our stand, gave donations and signed up to become a member - we hope you all had an enjoyable time! If you would like to come and visit us at one of our forthcoming events, why not visit our events page and find an event local to you.
