Job Description
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust is the leading nature conservation charity which seeks to increase people's involvement in their local environment and in turn create better conditions for wildlife on land and in the sea.
We are looking for an Education Officer to join our North Hampshire Area Conservation team. He/she will act as a public face of the Trust in north Hampshire, covering all aspects of education outreach work with schools, colleges and the wider community (including land owners/managers), developing and providing education programmes for a broad range of groups.
You will be educated to degree level and have extensive experience of education, preferably in the environmental field. Experience of developing and managing projects is also essential. You will need excellent communication skills, a good understanding of environmental education, and the ability to inspire all age groups and abilities. A full driving licence and an enhanced CRB check are required for this post.
