Donations
As a charity we do not receive Government funding and rely on members and supporters to fund vital conservation work. Without donations we would struggle to manage our wildlife reserves and help threatened species survive. Your support today can make a real difference to securing our natural heritage for future generations.
Here's how a donation could make a difference :
- £3 - a days cost of topping-up bird feeders at one of our Education Centres.
- £25 - a bat box.
- £60 - a volunteer to conduct watervole and other wetland surveys to help protect both habitats and species.
- £78 - the introduction of grazing on one of our Reserves and will help to create a wildlife habitat that is perfect for insects, wildflowers and birdlife.
- £95 - a Planning Officer to raise objections and suggest changes to a wildlife unfriendly development proposal such as Bordon-Whitehill Eco town or the deep water container port at Dibden Bay.
- £120 - the restoration of 170 square metres of heathland turning it into a wonderful wildlife habitat.
If you want to, you can choose how we spend your money.
How to donate
You may prefer to make a one-off donation rather than take on the regular commitment of becoming a member. Of course we do hope that people will want to join us and support our cause but we do understand that this may not suit everyone. You can make a donation online by typing the amount you would like to donate above or by going to justgiving.com. Alternatively you can send a cheque to us at this address.
You may like to donate to our current appeal. Your donation will help us reach our target and secure a better future for wildlife.
Many people prefer to have money donated in lieu of flowers in memory of a loved one. This is a wonderful way to acknowledge someone’s love of the countryside and wildlife and ensure that this interest lives on beyond death. Most funeral directors are able to help with collecting these donations or you can ask people to go to our page on justgiving.com.
Gift Aid
In 2000, a package of measures was introduced aimed at boosting charitable giving. Under the scheme, effective from April 6th 2000, any gift however large or small can attract Gift Aid relief. This means we will be able to increase the value of your donation at no extra cost to you.
If you are a UK taxpayer and happy for your donations to be eligible for gift aid please complete and this gift aid declaration and return it to Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust, FREEPOST SO2004, Beechcroft House, Vicarage Lane, Curdridge, Hampshire, SO32 2AX.
